Durgapur : Hemophilia Society-Durgapur Chapter successfully organized free hemophilia screening test for 62 hemophiliacs across West Bengal. Inhibitor screening is essential to manage the most serious complications of hemophilia. By detecting inhibitors early, doctors can adjust the treatment plan to avoid serious, long-term joint damage or life-threatening bleeding. After the event, members of HSDC visited the residence of Smt. Shilpi Pal, recipient of Ananya Samman 2026, Z24 Ghana and distributed some lunch packets for her organisation on behalf of HSDC as a gesture of recognition.
