Durgapur, 26 July 2026: The Hemophilia Society – Durgapur Chapter successfully organized a special visit to Tarzan Circus at Gandhi More, Durgapur, for persons with hemophilia and their family members today.
The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from children and adults living with hemophilia, accompanied by their parents and family members. The outing provided a welcome break from the daily challenges, pain and emotional burden of living with a lifelong bleeding disorder. The participants were delighted and thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the spectacular circus performance, making the day truly memorable.
As part of the programme, members of the Hemophilia Society – Durgapur Chapter also distributed bilingual awareness leaflets among fellow spectators at the circus to spread awareness about hemophilia, its symptoms, the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. The awareness campaign received an encouraging response from the public.
Shri Ajoy Roy, Secretary of the Hemophilia Society – Durgapur Chapter, said, “Along with proper medical care, social and recreational activities play a vital role in enhancing the confidence, mental well-being, and overall quality of life of persons with hemophilia.
